About the Journal
International Martial And Culture Journal" is an international peer reviewed journal. It is a periodical published by the Center for Pencak Silat Research, Padang State University, Indonesia, in collaboration with other institutions, the Indonesian Pencak Silat Association and Mixed Martial Arts.
"International Martial And Culture Journal " provides free, immediate and permanent online access to the full text of all articles distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial License “Unported” http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/ (CC BY-NC).
"International Martial And Culture Journal" publishes original scientific articles on various aspects of physical culture, cultural tourism and humanities (philosophy, sociology, history, pedagogy and psychology), especially martial arts. It also includes reviews, polemics, and publication surveys of subject matter contained in periodicals.

Interdisciplinary research; a holistic and systematic approach that is consistent with the new paradigm of science; - Connection of physical education with philosophy, cultural sociology, education and humanities; - Physical and spiritual practices, Eastern traditions and cultural dialogue; - Sport theory (competition sports), humanistic theory of pencak silat and in general, the science of pencak silat; - Organizational activities, functions of martial arts institutions, and outstanding individual profiles; - Cultural tourism, especially martial arts tourism.
The Editorial Board and the Scientific Council are international bodies. The board is multidisciplinary. All members of the committee are held in high esteem around the world. Some of them work as editor-in-chief of international journals or are members of international scientific organizations. These articles will be published every six months in English in electronic form, in an open access system. All original scientific content is available free for personal use without restriction on the journal's website.
