Volume 3, Number 3 (2025) of the International Martial Arts and Culture Journal features empirical and narrative studies that investigate physical conditioning, training methods, coaching perspectives, and psychological aspects of martial arts performance. The articles in this issue address topics such as wrestling and karate athletes’ physical readiness, plyometric and weight training effects in pencak silat, coaches’ perceptions of athlete development, and imagery practices among karate practitioners. Collectively, these contributions advance scholarly understanding of performance optimization and athlete development in martial arts contexts. This issue showcases international authorship, with contributors from Indonesia, Poland, China, Malaysia, Suriname, and Burundi.
