Feasibility Test of Hanging Samsak Filled with Coconut Coir Waste for Martial Sports

Abstract

The problem in this research is the lack of interest of the martial arts activist community in utilizing sports equipment products whose feasibility has not been proven. Many factors cause. For this reason, the researcher will only discuss the feasibility test for making a hanging bag using coconut fiber waste for martial arts sports. This type of research is qualitative. This research was carried out in January 2023. The population in the study were all Indonesian Pariaman martial arts college athletes, totaling 32 athletes. . The sample taken was only 30 athletes by means of purposive sampling. Retrieval of data using tests, with the following instruments: Using a questionnaire (Questionnaire). Tests from martial arts experts and coconut fiber waste material processing experts. The results of the research results of data analysis which illustrate the feasibility of a Hanging Samsat with Coconut Coir Valley Stuffing for Indonesian Youth Satria Pencak Silat Martial Arts 1) Small Group Test has 5 people with a percentage of 17% athletes are interested with a very strong category, 25 athletes are categorized as Strong with a percentage of 83%. The feasibility percentage of the hanging bag from the results of martial arts experts is 64% good category and the results of waste experts are 86% very good. 2) The martial arts expert test Based on the analysis of the martial arts expert test there is a score obtained 34, the maximum score is 50, the percentage of 64% is categorized as good. 3) Based on the analysis of the material processing expert test, there is a score obtained 43, the maximum score is 50, the percentage of 86% is categorized as very good. Feasibility This tool is suitable for use in the field of martial arts, and is even ready to be tested without revision.
